I’m 16 years old today!
Mom isn’t sure of the exact date I was born. She met me in the backyard, June 2004. She figures I was born in early May, so each year we celebrate my birthday May 1.
I think I’ll take a long nap in my bed, then ask Mom to play some games with me. It’s going to be a good day!
Finding one of my jingle balls,
then finding three! These are my favourite. It makes a jingling sound when I pick it up and shake it. I make my mom laugh when I try to meow with the ball in my mouth.

Mookie’s having trouble keeping his eyes open because he got me up three times last night wanting attention and food. I’m feeling as sleepy as he is today.

Where’d everyone go?
Lately Mookie wants to snuggle and curl up in my lap wherever I sit. This photo was taken while I was sitting at the computer. I stayed longer than I wanted to. I couldn’t disturb a sleeping cat. Doesn’t he look comfortable?
My Mom made this blanket for the cats and Mookie claimed it. All crocheted blankets in this house have to be made from cotton yarn or Sammy will eat them.
