I never know what I’ll see out my window.

The beautiful sunrise

A woodpecker

A magpie in the tree

Or deer in the parking lot
Sharing my cat's photos, stories and everyday adventures.
I never know what I’ll see out my window.
The beautiful sunrise

Or deer in the parking lot
How did Mom know I like boxes?
Lots of room to stretch out with my toys.
This Christmas is going to be the best! I have a new home.
My very own stocking!
And Mom says that Santa Paws will be here soon.
So I’m resting up for the big day.
Merry Christmas
Correne & Scout
Showing off my big paws.
Gathering up my toys for Mom and me to play.
Ready for a nap after playtime.
Mom wanted me to take Christmas selfies wearing a Santa hat. All I wanted to do was sleep.
I love my ice cream cone toys. They come in different colors, but they all taste like catnip to me.
They’re small enough to carry too.
This tunnel is one of my favorite toys.
I love my new home and the couch
I’m so comfy
Mom laughs at the way I sit up and sleep
But there are times I like to stretch my legs
I like this life after being in the shelter for two months. I think you’ll be seeing lots of sleepy selfies
It’s good to be back blogging. I’ve been away for awhile, busy with my move to another province in Canada. I’m settled in a condo and I really like it, but something has been missing. A cat.
This is Scout. A 7 year old female. I adopted her from the Humane Society. I picked her up Friday. I should have had her a week before, but she had an eye infection, so they wanted to make sure she was healthy before sending her home.
Scout loves tummy rubs. Within two hours of being in her new home, she was rolling around on the floor.
When I saw her photo online, I just knew she was the one. I saw her age and new it would take longer for someone to adopt her and she was also a shy and nervous cat. When I visited the shelter, all I saw were two eyes and a nose peaking out from a blanket. I didn’t see the full cat until she was put in the carrier to bring home.
Scout isn’t shy anymore. She lets me know when she’s hungry or wants attention, especially in the middle of the night. She’s made herself right at home.
