Whenever I can’t find Scout, I look in the bathtub. I don’t know if her previous owners gave her a bath, but she seems happy there. One time she put her face up to the faucet looking for water.

My cat, Little, loved to play in the tub (sans water). She chased a sparkly ball all up and down the sides.

One of our earlier kitties loved the tub, too…and he was so confused when we fixed the leaky facet in there, MOL!! So then he started to jump in there after we were done showering and would lap up the droplets he found.

I’ve had cats that loved the bathtub too – either as a cool napping spot in the summer OR a spot to ask for a drink from the faucet……when we adopted Teddy he was apparently used to getting his drinks from the sinks. I retrained him to drink from a bowl. Tubs can also be a nice, quiet, PRIVATE spot for cats when they just want to be alone…..!

Scout is the first cat I’ve had that likes the tub. Now it’s the first place I look when I can’t find her. That’s cute with Teddy and the sink.

Mr. Bowie loved to sleep in the bathtub. If I couldn’t find him in the house I knew he was sleeping in the bathroom.
